Markov needed to complete his straight draw to stay alive and hit the 3♠ on the turn. Kaukua was already drawing dead by the Q♣ river and paid off Markov's double up.
Dmitry Gromov opened to 30,000 from early position and Aleksandr Kirichenko three-bet to 100,000 from middle position. Gromov made the call.
The flop came Q♣7♣7♠ and Gromov check-called a 75,000 bet from Kirichenko.
Both players then checked the 2♥ turn leading to the 6♥ river. Gromov bet 100,000 and after spending a couple minutes to think over his decision Kirichenko opted to fold. Gromov revealed the Q♠ in his hand before taking the pot.
The remaining 59 players are now on a 10-minute break.

Mustafa Ercan raised to 40,000 under the gun before Aleksandr Ivanov moved all in for 125,000 in the small blind. Damir Gabdullin then reshoved in the big blind, sending Ercan deep into the tank. He thought about the decision for nearly five minutes until folded.

Ercan took his cards and slammed them down on the table upon seeing Gabdullin's cards. Ivanov turned away from the table and relied on his son, who came over from another table to watch, to relay the board to him.
The board came 10♣8♠6♣Q♣9♠ and Ivanov took the pot to survive near the bubble.
At the same time on another table, Matthew Davenport was all in for 240,000 from the small blind and up against Jovan Kenjic in early position.

Davenport hit top pair on the 6♦5♣A♦ flop and stayed in front through the 8♣ turn and 3♣ river to secure a double up.
Dmitry Gromov opened to 40,000 from middle position and was called by Aleksandr Ivanov in the small blind and Mustafa Gulal in the big blind.
All three players checked the flop and turn leading to a final board of 9♣7♦5♣4♦10♣. Ivanov bet 90,000, Gulal folded and Gromov called.
Ivanov showed A♣J♣ for the nut-flush and Gromov quickly mucked.
Mustafa Ercan and Aleksandr Razinkov went to the river in a blind versus blind battle and the board showing 4♣Q♣K♦5♦4♥. Ercan then bet 175,000 from the small blind.
Razinkov responded by moving all in, having Ercan's remaining 270,000 covered. Ercan tanked for more than five minutes.
"Fold," he eventually said, turning over K♥Q♠ and tossing them into the muck.
"Show one card," he pleaded with Razinkov, who went to show both cards. "Two cards good," Ercan added.
Razinkov eventually flipped over Q♥9♥ as he took the pot. "Good bluff," Ercan said, exchanging a hug with Razinkov after the hand.
Fausto Tantillo bet 40,000 from early position on a flop of 10♣K♣7♦ and Maher Achour called in the cutoff.
Both players checked the K♠ turn and the river was the A♣. Tantillo then bet 165,000.
Achour paused for a few minutes before emerging with a raise to 420,000. Tantillo then tanked for several minutes.
He eventually flashed Q♣J♠ for a straight and folded as Achour took the pot without showing his cards.
Nenad Dukic opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and Yuri Suvorov defended from the big blind.
The flop came A♣10♦9♦ and Suvorov check-called a 55,000 bet from his opponent.
Suvorov checked again on the 7♠ turn and Dukic bet 200,000. Suvorov shoved for 800,000, sending his opponent, who covered Suvorov slightly, deep into the tank.
Dukic looked like he was on the verge of calling multiple times but ultimately mucked his hand after several minutes of contemplation.
"I had a very strong hand" Dukic told Suvorov, who remained silent as he dragged in a nice pot.
Maher Achour raised to 40,000 in early position before Armand Matti moved all in for 365,000 on the button. Fausto Tantillo called in the big blind and Achour folded a pair of sevens.

Tantillo began filming the action as the flop came K♥3♣9♦ to give Matti the lead with a pair of kings. Tantillo picked up a straight draw on the 10♦ turn, but he missed the 10♣ river and Matti doubled up.
