Candido Cappiello opened to 600,000 under the gun with A♦10♠. Danesh Zargaran also looked down at A♠10♣ in early position and three-bet to 1,200,000. The table folded back to Cappiello who called as the two chip leaders went heads-up to the K♠Q♠8♥ flop.

Zargaran bet another 1,625,000 and Cappiello called. The turn was the 9♦ and Zargaran bet 2,150,000. Cappiello folded this time and Zargaran put some distance between them atop the leaderboard.

While Jak Ferman was being eliminated on the outer table, a hand was still in progress up on the main feature stage.

Robert Burlacu had opened to 500,000 in the cutoff and Danesh Zargaran three-bet to 1,625,000 in the small blind. Burlacu then moved all in for 9,700,000.

Zargaran tanked for several minutes and burned through all of his time bank cards before putting in the chips to call, creating a pot of more than 20,000,000.
