Hammi Gets Away From Top Pair as Cappiello Bombs the River
Level 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Action folded to Mohamed Ameur Hammi who raised to 900,000 in the small blind. Candido Cappiello called with J♥5♥ in the big blind.
The K♥J♣2♥ flop gave Cappiello a pair and flush draw as Hammi continued for 900,000. Cappiello called and Hammi bet another 2,500,000 on the 7♣ turn.
Cappiello again called and completed his flush on the 4♥ river. Hammi slowed down and checked, and Cappiello then moved all in.
Hammi had 11,000,000 behind and burned through multiple time banks before folding K♣Q♦ for top pair as Cappiello took the pot.
