Level 24
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Ghassan Bitar raised to 65,000 on the button, Edgard Raffoul shoved in his last 400,000 in the big blind, and Bitar snap-called.
Edgard Raffoul: A♠Q♣
Ghassan Bitar: Q♠Q♥
Bitar had woken up with queens to leave Raffoul at serious risk of elimination as the board ran out 8♥6♥5♦4♣9♥, sending Raffoul to the rail.
According to Raffoul, Bitar had earlier won a big pot off him when he turned two pair with jack-nine to crack Raffoul's pocket queens.
