Sahafi Picks Off Matin For a Bustout

Houman Sahafi raised to 8,000 in early position, Kianoosh Matin three-bet to 28,000 in the small blind, and Sahafi called.

Matin checked to Sahafi on the 8♠6♠4♣ flop and Sahafi bet 32,000. Matin then moved all in for 184,000. Sahafi spent a few minutes in the tank before eventually calling to put Matin at risk.

Sahafi found himself ahead with his jacks as the turn came the 3♠. The river was the 6♣ and Matin couldn't improve as he was sent to the rail and the pot pushed to Sahafi.

With around 80,000 in the pot on a board of 10♠9♥5♠7♥, Rayan Aljawhari moved all in for 110,000 in the cutoff and Aleksandr Pak called in the big blind. Cenk Ogun in the hijack gave the decision some thought but eventually folded A♠9♠.

Aljawhari showed K♣Q♠ for a straight draw, while Pak had K♦10♣ for top pair. The river was the 9♣ and Pak took the pot with two pair to send Aljawhari to the rail.

"Easy fold," a tablemate told Ogun, who would've hit trips and won the pot.

Action folded around to Antoine Hasbani in the small blind, who raised to 8,000. Alberto De-Leo defended his big blind and the dealer fanned out the J♣5♠K♥ flop.

Both players checked to the K♣ turn, where Hasbani fired 8,000 into the middle. De-Leo did not take long to fold, seeing the small pot slide to his right.
