The Isaia/Pavlov War Rages On

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Alessio Isaia and Atanas Pavlov have been at each other's throats all day and just played another all-in pot where more chips exchanged hands.

Pavloc had made a committing raise from the hijack and Isaia shoved from the big blind. Pavlov called off his stack of 3,250,000.

Atanas Pavlov: A10 All in
Alessio Isaia: 77

Isaia had a chance to thin down the field right before the break, but the QKA flop gave Pavlov the lead with a pair of aces. No seven appeared on the 8K runout, and Pavlov doubled up.

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Erdal Gulseven
Erdal Gulseven

Erdal Gulseven is showing his grit and survival skills after just earning himself a double-up through Alessio Isaia.

Isaia had opened from early position and Gulseven shoved the big blind for 2,000,000. Isaia called.

Erdal Gulseven: QQ All in
Alessio Isaia: 1010

"Queens haven't been good for me," joked Gulseven, who lost queens against fives earlier on in the day.

This time his queens prevailed as the KA943 runout, although giving Isaia a flush draw on the turn, held up for Gulseven.

Abrahamsson Chipping Up

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Daniel Abrahamsson is chipping up nicely and has around 16,000,000 after just taking down two pots in a row.

First, Giorgiy Skhulukhiya opened from the hijack to 600,000 and Abrahamsson shoved the button, which earned him the pot as everybody else folded.

In the next hand, Abrahamsson's cutoff open was enough to get the job done as he picked up another round of blinds.

Isaia Gets Revenge on Pavlov

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Alessio Isaia
Alessio Isaia

Atanas Pavlov may have won a chunk of chips from Alessio Isaia earlier on, but Isaia just got them all back with interest!

Isaia opened from under the gun and Pavlov called on the button. The action was then checked to the river on the 85244 runout where Isaia checked and Pavlov bet 1,200,000. Isaia then stuck in an unexpected check-raise to 3,500,000, which sent Pavlov into the tank.

After using some extra time, Pavlov called and was shown a full house by Isaia, who flipped 55. That huge river check certainly paid off for Isaia!

Rui Querido Martins Eliminated in 9th Place ($21,010)

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Rui Querido Martins

Disaster for Rui Querido Martins as a mistake has cost him his tournament life.

Atanas Malinov min-raised to 600,000 from under the gun and when the action got to Martins in the small blind, he shoved for a little over 2,000,000. The big blind folded and Martins went to return his cards to the dealer thinking he had won the pot, but soon clawed them back after Malinov asked for a count.

After around fifteen seconds of thinking, Malinov reluctantly tossed in the call.

"F*******K!" said Martins when he realized his mistake.

Rui Querido Martins: K5 All in
Atanas Malinov: 77

Martins still had an overcard and picked up an extra out when the flop came down 333 as any three would give him quads with a higher kicker. However, the 7 turn removed three of his outs as Malinov improved to a bigger full house, leaving Martins with just one chance to find the case three.

Instead, the J dropped on the river, and Martins made his way to the exit, visibly frustrated.

Pavlov's Aces Hold Against Isaia's Jacks

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Atanas Pavlov
Atanas Pavlov

Atanas Pavlov has climbed from the bottom of the pack and is approaching the top after just doubling up against Alessio Isaia.

Pavlov opened from middle position to 600,000 and Isaia three-bet the button to 1,500,000. When it got back to Pavlov, he shoved for 3,475,000, and Isaia snap-called.

Atanas Pavlov: AA All in
Alessio Isaia: JJ

Pavlov had the rockets and was on the verge of a double-up which would take him well up the counts and out of danger. A flop of A22 all but sealed the deal as Pavlov improved to top boat, leaving Isaia needing running jacks to win the hand.

The board did run out with running cards, but the 66 wasn't what Isaia needed, and Pavlov doubled up.
