Sibgatova Finds Herself in a Tough Spot

Level 3 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Alisa Sibgatova
Alisa Sibgatova

Alisa Sibgatova was left shaking her head after the latest hand she played.

With around 15,000 in the middle on a 348A board, the big blind checked and Sibgatova fired out 7,500. A check-raise then came up from the big blind to 28,500, which Sibgatova called after some consideration.

A 5 dropped on the river and big blind moved the remainder of his stack into the middle, around 60,000. Sibgatova had a similar amount back and was shaking her head when the bet went in. After around 30 seconds, she elected to fold, and the pot was pushed in her opponent's direction.

Burtin Starts Well

Level 3 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Kirill Burtin is off to a good start and has boosted his stack to around 160,000 in the early goings.

An opponent had shoved for around 15,000 and Burtin made the call to put her at risk.

Opponent: A3 All in
Kirill Burtin: 99

Despite his opponent flopping a flush draw on the 487 flop, the runout of 108 kept his pocket nines in the lead and gave his stack a little boost.

Bakhtiev Quickly Loses Half His Stack

Level 2 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were already around 30,000 chips in the pot on a 7KA flop when the small blind checked and Ruslan Bakhtiev bet 12,000 from the big blind. Reza Rahbari called on the button, and the small blind folded.

When the 2 hit the turn, Bakhtiev wasted no time in tossing out a single white chip, worth 25,000, and bet all of it. Rahbari didn't seem too impressed with the sizing but tossed in the chip anyway.

A 5 hit the river and Bakhtiev waved the white flag, knuckling the table, which prompted Rahbari just to flip his cards over and show KJ for a pair of kings. Bakhtiev couldn't beat that and sent his cards back to the dealer, leaving Rahbari to rake in the pot.

Aces For Mehraba

Level 2 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There was an open from a player in early position and Peteris Enders called on the button before Mahdi Mehraba made a squeeze from the small blind to around 6,000. Both players called.

On the 36K flop, Mehraba continued with a bet of 7,500, which both early position and Enders called to see the 7 on the turn, where all three checked.

A 7 paired the board on the river and Mehraba reached for chips and threw 30,500 into the pot. After a long time in the tank, the early position player called, and Enders quickly folded.

Mehraba then revealed AA for the rockets, which won him the pot as his opponent quickly mucked.
