El-Wely's Stack Goes Up and Down

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

Mohamed El-Wely raised to 275,000 from early position and got from David Boyaciyan in the hijack before Adem Agoudjil three-bet to 800,000 in the cutoff. El-Wely responded with a four-bet to 2,275,000, which got Boyaciyan to fold. Agoudjil then moved in, and El-Wely folded.

It wasn't all bad news for El-Wely, as he then raised under the gun and got a call from Adil Tlimisov in the big blind.

On the 542 flop, Tlimisov check-called a bet of 125,000 from El-Wely to the 3 turn, where again he check-called for 400,000.

An 8 hit the river and after Tlimisov checked, El-Wely went with a sizing of 1,225,000. Tlimisov had around 2,000,000 behind and elected to call.

El-Wely then showed the top end of the straight with 86, and Tlimisov mucked.
