Shornikau was in trouble with two undercards, but found sanctuary on the 4♠4♣6♣ flop as he made trips. A J♣ on the turn didn't make things easy as Chouity picked up a club flush draw, but the A♥ river was clean for Shornikau, and he doubled up.

Richard Broda and Mehmet Deniz just played out two pots, with both of them going to the latter.

In the first hand. Broda opened the hijack to 600,000 and Deniz three-bet to 1,500,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Broda, he called.

They saw a flop of 3♣7♦K♥, where Broda check-called a bet of 650,000 from Deniz to see the 2♦ on the turn. Broda checked, then folded when Deniz bet 1,700,000.

Shortly after, Deniz raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Broda called in the big blind.

On the 4♥6♥4♦ flop, Broda check-folded to a bet of 400,000 from Deniz.

When it folded to Aleksandr Razinkov on the button, he shoved with a stack that covered the entire table. Dawid Smolka peered at his cards in the big blind and then made the call for his stack of 3,400,000.

Smolka picked up jacks at the perfect time, and only a very unfortunate board would see him bust.

A flop of 10♥4♣5♥ came down to give Razinkov a straight draw. The 7♦ turn gave Razinkov even more outs, and the 7♣ on the river improved Razinkov to trip sevens. Smolka was out in 11th place, and Razinkov moved up to 26,000,000.

The tournament was now on the final table bubble.
