Deniz Doubles Up Two Opponents

It's not been a good few minutes for Mehmet Deniz, as he doubled up two of his short-stacked opponents.

First. Maksim Shornikau shoved from under the gun for 1,950,000 and Deniz called on the button.

Shornikau found himself in a flip, one he took firm control of on the 3♠A♠9♣ flop with a pair and flush draw. He improved to trips on the 9♥ turn, and held on through the 2♥ river.

In the next hand, Deniz raised to 500,000 from the cutoff and Nebi Baysal shoved around 1,800,000 from the small blind. Deniz called.

Baysal flopped two pair on 10♦A♦3♦ and held through the 3♠Q♣ runout, which earned him a double-up.

Mehmet Deniz raised from under the gun to 500,000 with Nicolas Chouity calling the hijack, and Nebi Baysal calling from the cutoff.

Three ways to the 3♥7♠3♦ flop, where Baysal started with a check. Deniz fired 800,000, which only Chouity called.

The 4♦ caused Deniz to slow down and check. Chouity fired 1,700,000, and Deniz quickly let go of his hand.

Aleksandr Razinkov opened to 525,000 from under the gun and Kemal Aslan three-bet to 2,500,000 from the cutoff, leaving himself just 225,000 behind. When it got to "Ma" in the big blind, he called, then Razinkov immediately moved all in. "Ma" had around 7,200,000 behind, and after some time in the tank, he folded and said he had pocket jacks.

"Ma" folding pocket jacks was terrible news for Aslan, who now had in his head that he only had one out. No jacks appeared on the 2♥5♦Q♣7♥6♦ runout, and that spelt the end for Aslan.

Adrian State opened to 500,000 from the hijack and Nicolas Chouity defended his big blind.

They went to a flop of 4♠3♦7♥, where Chouity elected to lead for 450,000. State called to see the 7♦ turn and again was faced with another bet from Chouity of 750,000.

Again State called and the 6♦ fell on the river. Chouity then shoved, which put State to the test for his last 2,200,000. After thinking for around 20 seconds, State called.

Chouity then tabled 5♣2♣ for a straight, and State's J♠J♣ went in the muck.

Ma was first to act on the 3♠8♦6♥ flop, and chose to check. Tommy G put out a bet of 450,000, which was met by a check-raise to 1,350,000 by Ma. Tommy G thought about it for a while, but opted to fold and surrendered the pot to Ma.
