State Wisely Checks Behind

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Nicolas Chouity raised to 400,000 from middle position and Adrian State three-bet the button to 1,200,000. When it got back to Chouity, he called.

Chouity knuckled the action over to State on the 696 flop, and State placed out a bet of 750,000. Chouity took a few moments, then made the call.

The 7 turn saw Chouity check-call a bet of 2,500,000 by State. The 4 river got checks from both players and Chouity took down the pot with 77 for full house.

Uri Reichenstein Eliminated in 14th Place ($24,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Uri Reichenstein
Uri Reichenstein

Uri Reichenstein hit the rail, but it took a few hands to get him there.

First, Reichenstein made it 500,000 to go from middle position, leaving himself just 25,000 behind. "Tommy G" called in the small blind, then the two checked it down on the 10101074 runout. "Tommy G" showed A5, and that was good for the pot as Reichenstein mucked.

Reichenstein then managed to get his stack to 300,000 after winning the next hand, but was forced all-in from the big blind and was up against Kemal Aslan, who raised the button.

Uri Reichenstein: A4 All in
Kemal Aslan: A5

A chop looked likely, but Aslan found a five on the 3Q1058 runout, which ended Reichenstein's run.

Tommy G Gets There on the River

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Uri Reichenstein made it 400,000 from the hijack, and Tommy G three-bet to 2,300,000 from the big blind with 900,000 behind. Reichenstein jammed with a few big blinds more than Tommy G, and after seeing nobody at the other table was all-in, Tommy G called.

Tommy G: AK All in
Uri Reichenstein: 88

The flip was pivotal for both players' future in the event. The 647 flop didn't help Tommy G, and neither did the 3 turn. But the K river gave him top pair, and kept him in the tournament.

After the stacks were counted, Reichenstein was left with just 600,000.

Shornikau Finds a Double

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Nicolas Chouity made it 400,000 to go from under the gun and Maksim Shornikau shoved 1,075,000 from the hijack. When it got back to Chouity, he called.

Maksim Shornikau: KQ All in
Nicolas Chouity A5

Chouity was ahead, but the 66K flop gave Shornikau a pair of kings and the lead. A 6 brought an extra out for Chouity as any six would give him quads with an ace-kicker, but that wasn't to be as the 8 river confirmed Shornikau's double-up.

Gabriel Akiki Eliminated in 15th Place ($24,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Gabriel Akiki
Gabriel Akiki

Gabriel Akiki raised to 500,000 from middle position, and only Mehmet Deniz called from the cutoff.

Akiki fired out a bet of 800,000 upon seeing the Q57 flop. Deniz made the call.

The A appeared on the turn, and Akiki placed out a second bet, this time for 800,000. Once again, Deniz called.

After a 6 hit the river, Akiki jammed for 3,450,000. Deniz immediately made the call with the bigger stack.

Akiki revealed a pair of kings with KK, and this was second best to the QJ of Deniz for a rivered flush. The pot went Deniz's way, and Akiki was out in 15th.

Aleksandr Kirichenko Eliminated in 16th Place ($20,000)

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Aleksandr Kirichenko
Aleksandr Kirichenko

Adil Tlimisov opened from early position to 400,000 and Aleksandr Razinkov three-bet to 1,250,000 from the hijack. Aleksandr Kirichenko was in the small blind and moved all in for 2,900,000, which got Tlimisov to quickly folded. Razinkov confirmed the count and a few seconds later, he called.

Aleksandr Kirichenko: JJ All in
Aleksandr Razinkov: 1010

Kirichenko was in a great spot to double up, but that looked unlikely as the 105Q flop gave Razinkov a set of tens. The 7 on the turn removed any chop possibilities, and the A river meant Kirichenko was out in 16th.

State Makes Akiki Fold Top Pair

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Adrian State
Adrian State

From middle position, Adrian State raised to 400,000, and only Gabriel Akiki called from the cutoff.

State put out a continuation-bet of 300,000 on the K64 flop. Akiki stuck around with a call.

The 8 appeared on the turn, which caused State to check. Akiki bet 500,000 before State check-raised to 2,000,000. Akiki burned through some of his time bank cards before electing to show the Kx and fold.

Razinkov Stays Aggressive

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

After getting down to around 2,000,000, Dawid Smolka got a three-bet shove through, which boosted his stack to almost 3,000,000.

Aleksandr Razinkov also got two three-bets in a row through to bring his stack to eight figures. First, Uri Reichenstein opened to 400,000 from the cutoff and Razinkov three-bet from the big blind to 1,100,000, which earned him the pot.

in the next hand, Adil Tlimisov made it 400,000 to go from the cutoff and Razinkov three-bet the small blind to 1,600,000. That did the trick again as Tlimisov folded.

Razinkov Shoves on Smolka

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Aleksandr Razinkov raised to 400,000 from early position and Dawid Smolka three-bet the button to 1,000,000. Razinkov called.

A flop of 5A3 was laid out on the table, where Razinkov check-called a bet of 575,000 from Smolka to the 6 turn. Again Razinkov checked, and again Smolka fired, this time for 950,000. Razinkov used a time bank and then shoved, which got Smolka to snap-fold with around 2,000,000 behind.
