Adrian State raised to 300,000 from the cutoff, and Dawid Smolka three-bet the button to 750,000. After the blinds folded, State made the call.

State check-called a bet of 450,000 by Smolka on the Q♦10♥4♠ flop, and the two players saw the 10♦ appear on the turn. State led out for 750,000, which Smolka called.

The 8♣ rolled off on the river, and both players checked. State turned over K♦8♦ for a flush draw on the turn, which improved to a pair of eights on the river. Smolka may not have seen State's rivered pair, as he revealed A♥4♦ for a just pair of fours.

Aleksandr Kirichenko made it 300,000 from the hijack. Mehmet Deniz jammed from the small blind with a stack that covered both Nicolas Chouity in the big blind and Kirichenko. After looking at his cards, Chouity burned through a few of his time banks before making the call for his stack of 3,375,000. Kirichenko folded and the cards were turned over.
