Level 31 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Krasimir Yankov
Krasimir Yankov

Krasimir Yankov opened from the cutoff and Mehmet Deniz called in the big blind.

On the KK4, the two exchanged raises, which left Yankov's stack of around 1,000,000 in the middle and at risk.

Krasimir Yankov: QQ All in
Mehmet Deniz: 76

Yankov was ahead with his pair of queens, but not for long as the J on the turn completed Deniz' flush draw. No full house was made on the 2 river, and Yankov hit the rail.

Zhao had not been involved much today, but found himself in a crucial flip for his tournament life.

The flop came JA3 and Broda check-called a bet of 125,000 from Miskovic to the 10 turn. Both checked to the 3 river, where again they knuckled the table to showdown.

Ali Amirfatahi Eliminated in 22nd Place ($15,000)

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Ali Amirfatahi
Ali Amirfatahi

Adil Tlimisov raised to 250,000 under the gun with Ali Amirfatahi calling from the cutoff, and Nicolas Chouity defending his big blind.

On the J24 flop, Chouity started out with a check. Tlimisov bet 275,000, which only Amirfatahi called.

The 10 appeared on the turn, and Tlimisov fired out a second bet of 750,000. Amirfatahi took a while before deciding to make the call again.

The A rolled off on the river, which caused Tlimisov to put Amirfatahi all in for his remaining 2,500,000. Amirfatahi burned through a few of his time bank cards before he stood up and slammed in the call.

Tlimisov showed KQ, and had backdoored into the nut straight. Amirfatahi only had A6 for a pair of aces, and he headed to the cashier's desk to collect his 22nd-place payout.

Too Many Outs For Akiki

Level 30 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

A pot of around 1,300,000 had already brewed on a board of 43J9 when Nicolas Chouity had his stack of 2,075,000 in the middle and at risk against Gabriel Akiki

Nicolas Chouity: AJ All in
Gabriel Akiki: Q10

Chouity was ahead with his top pair, but Akiki had a plethora of outs with an overcard, flush draw, and an open-ended straight draw. However, it was a case of 'too many outs' for Akiki as the 6 hit the river, which meant he had to fork over some chips to Chouity.
