Erceg Rivers a Jack

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Vladimir Erceg raised from under the gun to 160,000 and Haydar Issa called on the button. Gabriel Akiki also called in the small blind.

The flop came 68K, and all three checked to the board-pairing K turn, where Akiki checked and Erceg bet 150,000. Both Issa and Akiki called.

A J hit the river and all three checked to showdown, where Akiki showed pocket sevens. They were no good, though, as Erceg flipped AJ for a rivered pair of jacks to scoop the pot.

Isaia Hits the Rail at the Hands of Chernikov

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Alessio Isaia
Alessio Isaia

Just before the break, a big hand happened on Table #2, which saw Alessio Isaia hit the rail.

Ma raised from the cutoff, and Aleksandr Chernikov called from the small blind. Isaia decided to squeeze all in from the big blind for 700,000. Ma folded, but Chernikov stuck in the call to put Isaia at risk.

Aleksandr Chernikov: AQ All in
Alessio Isaia: J8

Isaia was making a move, but Chernikov had flat called with a strong hand in the small blind. The 44Q flop gave Chernikov top pair, and meant Isaia needed running cards to survive. The 2 turn left Isaia drawing dead, as all of his chips were sent over to Chernikov once the 6 completed the board.

At another table Viacheslav Goryachev hit the rail and was also eliminated.

Aristotelos' Tens Good at Showdown

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Alisa Sibgatova opened to 120,000 from middle position and Katherina Aristotelos three-bet the button to 225,000. Sibgatova called.

They saw a flop of 4J7, where Sibgatova check-called a bet of 100,000 from Aristotelos to the 9 turn. Both checked, as they did on the 2 river, and Aristotelos' 1010 was good for the pot for a pair of tens.

Kaddouri Loses a Flip to Bust

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Mounim Kaddouri
Mounim Kaddouri

Mounim Kaddouri shoved for 690,000 from early position and was called by Kemal Aslan on the button.

Kemal Aslan: 99

Kaddouri was in a race for his tournament life. Upon seeing he didn't improve on the 266 flop, Kaddouri got up out of his chair. The 6 turn gave Kaddouri an extra out, but the 9 river only secured Aslan's victory with a boat. Kaddouri headed to the rail, and Aslan pulled in the pot.

Nakhoul Bets Out Two Players

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Uri Reichenstein opened the action with a raise to 125,000 on the button and Maksim Shornikau called in the small blind. Fadi Nakhoul then squeezed to 525,000 from the big blind, which both Reichenstein and Shornikau called.

The trio saw a flop of 410K, where Shornikau checked and Nakhoul fired a small bet of 130,000. Again, both Reichenstein and Shornikau called to see the 10 pair the board on the turn. Shornikau checked again, then Nakhoul bet 475,000.

This time, both Reichenstein and Shornikau folded, which meant Nakhoul's stack grew to around 3,700,000.

Alisa Sibgatova

Alisa Sibgatova moved all in from the hijack for 715,000, and Haydar Issa made the call from the cutoff to try and send her home.

Alisa Sibgatova: 88 All in
Haydar Issa: AA

Sibgatova got up out of her seat upon seeing she was up against bullets. However, she was quick to sit back down once the 8JQ flop came down to give her a set. Issa didn't improve on the 4 turn or J river, and Sibgatova survived again.

Changyang Liu
Changyang Liu

Changyang Liu opened from under the gun to 125,000 and Adil Tlimisov three-bet to 350,000 from the hijack. When the action got back to Liu, he shoved 1,325,000, Tlimisov reluctantly slid in a call.

Changyang Liu: JJ All in
Adil Tlimisov: AQ

Liu was looking to double up, but the 8Q8 flop was a disaster as Tlimisov made a pair of queens. No jacks appeared on the 6K runout, and Liu had his marching orders.
