Nenad Dukic made it 80,000 from the hijack with Xuming Qi calling out of the cutoff. Giuliano Boellis squeezed all in from the button for 780,000, which forced Dukic to fold. Qi called for over half his stack and the cards were turned over.

Boellis had the better kicker with his ace, and looked likely to score a huge double up. The A♥K♠8♦ flop gave both players top pair. The 3♠ hit the turn, and the 10♦ appeared on the river to give Qi two pair. Boellis was out, and Qi moved up to around 1,600,000.

Heads-up to a flop of 4♣8♣3♥ where Nenad Dukic checked from the cutoff, and Xuming Qi bet 275,000 from the button. Dukic stuck around with a call.

Both players checked the J♣ turn to see the 7♣ fall on the river. Dukic jammed for Qi's remaining 600,000, prompting Qi to go into the tank. After tanking for quite some time, Qi folded, and Dukic flipped over just the 3♠ and said: "It's a pretty good one to show."

Hasbani Spikes the River to Stay Alive

Antoine Hasbani jammed from middle position for 585,000, and was called by Tamazi Skhirtladze in the next seat, who had just a few big blinds more.

It was an important flip for both players' future in the tournament. The 2♠7♠5♣ flop was great for Skhirtladze's pocket nines. The 2♦ turn left Hasbani needing to hit the river to survive. The A♥ peeled off on the river to give Hasbani the winner with a pair of aces.

The pot was pushed to Hasbani, and Skhirtladze was left with just 100,000.

Mohamed El-Wely raised from the hijack with Jakub Michalak calling from the button. Antoine Farhat squeezed out of the big blind to 250,000, which both of his opponents called.

Farhat checked the K♥2♦10♥ flop, and El-Wely bet 120,000. Michalak folded. but Farhat check-raised to 500,000. El-Wely took a few moments before jamming for Farhmat's remaining 700,000. Farhat folded and surrendered the pot to El-Wely.
