Kozieja found himself in a flip with Snowmen against the ace-queen of Dukic. The flop fell A♦Q♥3♦ to propel Dukic into the lead with two pair. The 5♠ turn meant only an eight on the river would save Kozieja. However, it wasn't to be as the 3♠ dropped on the river and Kozieja was out on the bubble.

The remaining 41 players rejoiced at having made it into the money.

Wei was the shortest stack in the tournament and was unfortunate to run into the Cowboys of Dukic. The board ran out 3♦3♥Q♦J♦K♦, which prompted Wei to celebrate as he had rivered a straight. However, Dukic was quick to point out that he had a boat, and Wei was the first exit on Day 3.

The tournament was now officially on the direct bubble, and the next player eliminated would leave with nothing.

Michael Iakovlev made it 50,000 from the hijack before Peng Chen three-bet the button to 150,000. OIman Ihlamur cold-called from the small blind, but Iakolev folded.

Ihlamur checked the 9♠2♥5♠ flop and Chen bet 125,000. Ihlamur called.

After Ihlamur checked the 8♠ turn, Chen fired out a second bet of 250,000 with just 200,000 behind. Ihlamur went into the tank for around three minutes before reluctantly folding and surrendering the pot to Chen.
