Starting the penultimate day with an above-average stack of 289,000 is Russia's Andrey Pateychuk. In 2011, Pateychuk took down a major European title for a career-best score of $937,530. He’s no stranger to success at Merit Poker either, having already claimed four trophies, including two Main Events and a High Roller title. With his experience, Pateychuk is not someone players will be eager to see at their table as Day 2 gets underway.

Day 2 resumes at Level 9 with blinds of 1,000/1,500 and a 1,500 big blind ante. Players who have not yet entered or those looking to reenter, may do so until the end of Level 12. Once registration closes, the prize pool and payouts will be confirmed and published. The full Day 2 schedule will be announced shortly after cards are in the air.
