Kashani Takes It on the Turn

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With around 25,000 chips in the pot on a AKQ flop, both the small blind and Aleksandr Chernikov checked, then Arian Kashani fired out a bet of 10,000 from early position. Stanislaw Grodek folded the cutoff, the small blind called, and Chernikov folded from the big blind.

A J dropped on the turn and after the small blind checked, Kashani managed to forced a fold with a bet on the turn, which earned him the pot.

Pateychuk Four-Bet Shoves

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Adam Wagner opened the button to 4,500 and Andrey Pateychuk three-bet from the small blind to 20,000. The player in the big blind then made it 54,000, which got a quick fold out of Wagner.

Pateychuk, though, was having none of it and shoved all in, for almost 300,000. The big blind folded instantly, and Pateychuk added to his stack without seeing a flop.

Michalak Turns a Set, Gadzhiev Can't Get Away From Top Two

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Jakub Michalak
Jakub Michalak

Jakub Michalak raised from early position and Luke Marsh called from the next seat. The player in the cutoff called, as did Roman Gadzhiev in the big blind.

All four checked the 27A flop to see the 8 drop on the turn, where Gadzhiev led out for 11,000. Michalak called, then both Marsh and the cutoff folded.

When the Q dropped on the river, Gadzhiev announced a bet of 27,000 and slid forward the chips, then Michalak shoved for just under 120,000. Gadzhiev thought about it for a while before he eventually tossed in the call.

Michalak showed a turn set of eights with 88, and Gadzhiev flipped AQ before the dealer mucked them.
