Just before the break, a huge hand happened on Table #9.
Dawid Smolka raised to 30,000 under the gun with Joseph Houayek calling from middle position and Adrian State defending out of the big blind.
State checked the 10♥7♠3♦ flop and Smolka put out a continuation-bet of 30,000. Houayek folded, but State called.
After State checked again on the 2♠ turn, Smolka put out a second barrel, this time for 200,000. State check-shoved for 831,000, which sent Smolka deep into the tank. After pondering for around two minutes, Smolka made the call to put State at risk.
Adrian State: 5♠4♠
Dawid Smolka: A♦10♠
Smolka had top pair, but was against a huge combo draw of State's . If Smolka could avoid State's outs, he would become one of the biggest stacks in the room.
However, the A♠ peeled off on the river which may have given Smolka two pair, but it improved State to a flush, earning him a huge double up.

Philip Joyce raised from early position and Ryan Mandara three-bet from the small blind. Andreas Christoforou then four-bet shoved from around 520,000 from the big blind. Joyce folded, and Mandara — after a short tank — made the call.
Andreas Christoforou: A♣10♠
Ryan Mandara: A♥Q♥
Christoforou was way behind and fell even further into the hole when the flop came Q♣4♠9♠ as Mandara paired his queen. A 7♥ on the turn left Christoforou dead, and a meaningless 2♥ filled out the board.

Nemo Koering raised to 220,000 with just 25,000 behind. Roman Gadzhiev called from the small blind before Koen Roelofsen shoved for around 850,000 out of the big blind. Koering called for his last 25,000, and Gadzhiev flipped over 10♠10♥ as he folded, and was devasted after the cards were revealed.
Nemo Koering: J♣10♣
Koen Roelofsen; 8♣8♠
Koering found himself in a flip with the chance to triple up. The board ran out Q♣5♥7♥K♦9♠ which gave Koering the winner with a straight on the river, keeping him alive in the tournament.

Oren Meir rasied to 40,000 from the cutoff and Dmitry Gromov three-bet to 100,000 from the button. Andreas Mavromoustakis four-bet to 250,000 from the big blind, which only Gromov called.
Mavromoustakis put out a continuation-bet of 90,000 on the A♠6♦10♦ flop, and Gromov slid in the call.
The 6♠ appeared on the turn and Mavromoustakis bet out again, this time for 300,000. Gromov again slid out the call.
Mavromoustakis slowed down and checked when the 3♣ river fell. Gromov bet 625,000 and Mavromoustakis snap-called.
Gromov turned over the goods with 10♠10♥ for a flopped set that turned into a boat, as Mavromoustakis showed A♣K♣ for top pair top kicker.

Simeon Spasov raised the button to 50,000 and Ihar Soika shoved from the small blind for 860,000. Can Miral was in the big blind and after some thinking time, he shoved for a little bit. Spasov folded.
Ihar Soika: Q♦J♦
Can Miral: 9♦9♣
Soika was flipping for his tournament life and picked up a lot more outs on the 7♣10♦3♦ as he gained a flush draw. More outs arrived on the A♠ turn as Soika added a gutshot, but the 7♠ river was a brick, and Soika was eliminated.
