Nazar Buhaiov took down the €2,750 High Roller just yesterday, and is back hunting more trophies in the Main Event.
Buhaiov won €75,000 for his victory in the High Roller, which is his second major merit trophy after he won the opener event when Merit were last in Montenegro four years ago.
So far, it's not fantastic news for Buhaiov fans as he has around 50,000, which is half of the 100,000-chip starting stack.

Dmitriy Reznichenko raised the small blind and then called a three-bet from the big blind of 20,000.
On the 10♦8♠3♥ flop, Reznichenko check-called a bet of 10,000 to the K♦ turn, where again he checked.
The big blind then moved all, and Reznichenko let out a sigh and reluctantly folded. As he did so, he quickly opened the camera on his phone and snapped a photo of the board.

Sergey Kudryavtsev had opened the hijack and Nataliya Iakovleva ended up getting her stack of around 40,000 in from the big blind. Kudryavtsev obliged and the two went to the runout.
Nataliya Iakovleva: 9♠9♣
Sergey Kudryavtsev: A♥J♠
It was a fair fight, and one that went the way of Iakovleva as her pocket nines held on the 3♠K♥10♥K♣7♠ runout, earning her a much-needed double-up.
For Kudryavtsev, things weren't looking good as his stack plummeted to around 20,000.

There were around 40,000 in the pot on a 7♠Q♣5♣ flop when Shahab Sahranavard checked from the small blind and Zael Zela bet 30,000 from the big blind.
The player in the hijack folded, Sebastien Russo on the button folded, but Sahranavard called.
A 4♠ fell on the turn and Sahranavard just open-ripped his stack of around 175,000, and Zela snap-called for his 125,000.
Zael Zela: Q♥Q♦
Shahab Sahranavard: Q♠10♠
Sahranavard had top pair and a flush draw, and it was the flush that he needed to complete in order to earn the pot. Zela had top set and once the 8♣ fell on the river, his set remained best, earning him a big double-up.

After thirteen days of poker under the Mediterranean sun, the 2025 Merit Poker Dolce Vita Series crowned its final champion. Nicolas Chouity conquered a record-setting 1,023-entry field in the $3,300 La Notte Degli Assi, claiming the title, the trophy, and a career-boosting $460,000 payday inside the luxurious Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino.
