Martin Brinkmann opened to 1,300 from under the gun and Oleg Bystrenin called in the next seat. Yaniv Peretz also called from the big blind.
The flop came 3♠J♦4♠ and after two checks, Bystrenin bet 1,500. Peretz then made it 5,000 to go, Brinkmann folded, and Bystrenin called.
The 3♥ turn saw Peretz keep the aggression up with a bet of 8,200, which Bystrenin called to the 6♥ river. Peretz then took some time before he slowed down with a check, and Bystrenin bet 23,500.
Peretz mulled it over for around thirty seconds before he eventually called.
Bystrenin then sheepishly flipped over 9♠8♠ for a missed flush draw, and Peretz tabled the winner with K♦J♥ for a pair of jacks.

Ivan Bozhenko, who found a bag in Day 1a with 144,000, is back to try and run up a bigger stack to take into Day 2.
In a recent hand he played with Oleg Borkin, the board read 10♥J♦4♠7♦, Bozhenko checked from the big blind and then called a bet from Borkin, who bet 4,500.
The 6♦ river checked through, and Bozhenko showed the nuts with A♦10♦ to win the pot.

It's been a good start for Pablo Redrado, who is already up to around 130,000 after just getting a river bet paid of.
The board of 2♠8♠5♦2♣6♥ was on the table when "John Doe K" checked from the big blind and Redrado bet 16,000 from the cutoff. "John Doe K" immediately called.
Redrado then revealed a pair of tens with 10♠10♦, and that was best as "John Doe K" flashed 9♥9♣.

Alexander Sokolovsky is back for another bite of the cherry in the Main Event, and just made an impressive check back to save himself some chips.
The full board of 6♦5♠5♦2♦3♣ was out and Amir Hassan checked it over to Sokolovsky, who took some time before he knuckled back in the pot worth 25,000.
Hassan then revealed he flopped a full house with 6♥6♣, and Sokolovsky showed a flush with K♦4♦.
"You check back?" asked Hassan.
