Grummitt Runs Two Pair Into Bosyk's Top Set

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Paul Grummitt
Paul Grummitt

Nazar Buhaiov, who won the High Roller event just a few days ago, made it 5,500 under the gun only to be immediately three-bet to 15,000 by Maksym Bosyk in the next seat. Paul Grummitt cold-called from the small blind, but Buhaiov folded.

Check, check came after the 58A flop, and the 9 landed on the turn. Grummitt tossed out a bet of 20,000, which Bosyk called.

A 7 completed the board and Grummitt placed out a small bet of 10,000. Bosyk did some inventory of his stack, which amounted to 79,000, then slid them all across the betting line. Grummitt quickly called, and Boysk showed AA for top set. Grummitt revealed two pair with A9 as the the majority of his stack was sent over to Bosyk.

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Giulio Gallo
Giulio Gallo

Giulio Gallo has a UFC jacket on today, and he's just shown that he's not going to tap out easily.

The action was picked up on the turn with the board reading 5K104 with around 30,000 in the middle and Gallo checked it over from early position to Tim Gerwig in middle position, who bet 18,500. Gallo called.

An A fell on the river and Gallo checked again, only for Gerwig to shove 74,500. Gallo went into the tank and took around a minute before he flicked in the call.

Gerwig revealed two pair with K10, but Gallo had a bigger two pair with A10 to win the pot and deliver the knockout.

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ufuk Erkmen opened it up to 10,000 from the hijack and Mustafa Hadzibegovic was the only caller from the big blind.

Both checked the 259 flop to see the J roll off on the turn. Hadzibegovic checked for a second time and then called Erkmen's bet of 5,000.

A final check came from Hadzibegovic on the 8 river and Urkmen fired out for 16,000. Hadzibegovic quickly called and was shown a bluff by Urkmen with KQ. Hadzibegovic flipped up 109 for a pair of nines to take down the pot.

James' Trips No Good Against Ivanov's Boat

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Bobby James
Bobby James

Bobby James is back in action and providing updates from his table, but unfortunately the first one was bad news for the British player.

James recalled that Kianoosh Matin opened from early position to 5,500 and Evgeny Ivanov called in middle position. James squeezed to 25,000 from the small blind, which both players called.

James bet 18,000 on the AxQx7x flop, which both of his opponents called to the Qx turn, making the board a full rainbow. James fired again for 27,000, Matin folded, and Ivanov called.

A 4x completed the board and James shoved, then Ivanov quickly called for his remaining 56,000.

James showed KxQx for trip queens, but Ivanov had a boat with AxQx to win the pot.

Three ways to the 2KJ flop where the action checked to Vedat Yilmaz on the button. Yilmaz bet 6,500, which was only called by Alain Hajj in middle position.

A 4 came on the turn and Hajj check-called a second barrel from Yilmaz, this time for 16,500.

A board pairing 4 came on the river, and both players checked. Hajj turned over AK for a pair of kings, but lost the pot to Yilmaz's Q6 for a flopped flush.

Liu Stacks Feizi Early

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Huma Feizi
Huma Feizi

The first casualty of the day didn't take too long.

On a board of 9QA8, Huma Feizi bet 50,000 and then called off her stack after Zhengpeng Liu shoved the turn.

Huma Feizi: 98 All in
Zhengpeng Liu: AQ

Both players had two pair, but Feizi needed to boat up on the river to stay alive. Unfortunately for her, the 6 rolled off, which sent her to the rail early on.
