Beketov Picks Off a Bluff

Paul Esau raised to 1,500 from under the gun, which Kirill Beketov called in the hijack before Konstantin Voronin completed in the big blind.

Voronin and Esau both checked on a 5♠10♥10♦ flop, and Beketov bet 3,000. Voronin folded, but Esau called before the 9♠ turn checked through.

Esau checked a third time on the A♥ river, prompting Beketov to bet 7,500. Esau check-raised to 25,000, which was quickly called by Beketov.

Esau tabled K♠K♥, which was no good versus the A♣4♥ of Beketov.
