Hassan Nashar limped from the cutoff, and the action folded to Manuel Fritz in the small blind, who had around 55,000 in his stack. Before Fritz had even peeked at his cards, Nashar, who had spent much of the level standing, announced,
"You, I call you blind if you shove."
Sergey Moiseev was next in Nashar's sights as Nashar glanced over at his stack of 168,000in the big blind and added, "Hmm, you maybe I call."
Fritz completed, and Moiseev decided it was time to put Nashar's words to the test as he jammed for his 168,000.
Nashar deliberated for longer than usual before eventually surrendering what he described as a hand he loved. Fritz also folded.
Moiseev tabled A♠9♣ as he pulled in the pot, while Nashar revealed that he had folded eight-seven suited.
Unfortunately for Moiseev, he was unable to get anything going and was eliminated a short while after.

Geoffrey Mooney jammed for around 170,000 from late position, and Zorlu Er made the call from the blinds.

It was a race that Mooney needed to win to keep his hopes of making Day 2 alive.
The board ran out A♥6♣K♠2♣4♦, giving Er the winner after pairing his ace on the flop, and Mooney was sent packing.

Aren Bezhanyan raised to 30,000 on the button, and Stefan-Sebastian Ionita called from the big blind.
Ionita check-called bets from Bezhanyan on the 8♠7♣3♠ flop and the J♣ turn. The first was for 50,000, while the second was for 110,000.
The 9♦ river checked through, and Ionita revealed A♣5♣ for ace-high. Bezhanyan showed the winner with A♦A♠ for an overpair, and another pot was pushed his way.

From the small blind, on a board of K♣A♥A♠7♦, Stefan-Sebastian Ionita bet 26,000 and was met by a raise to 56,000 from Adi Alkalay in the big blind. Ionita thought for a few moments before calling.
The 4♣ river checked through, and Ionita tabled 7♣5♥ for just a pair of sevens. It was good, as Alkalay mucked and Ionita took down the pot.
