Fritz Sees the Funny Side of Nashar

Ali Al-Kubasi raised to 24,000 from the hijack, with Hassan Nashar calling on the button and Manuel Fritz defending from the big blind.

When it checked to Nashar on the 8♠7♣5♠ flop, he bet 50,000, which only Fritz called.

Both players checked the 7♠ turn before the 2♥ completed the board. Fritz led out for 35,000, and Nashar quickly called.

Fritz showed 10♣9♠ for ten-high, prompting Nashar to comment, "How you win with ten-high?"

Standing and not yet showing his cards, Nashar continued, "How you bet with ten-high?"

Nashar then slowly rolled over Q♥8♦ for a pair of eights, and the pot was pushed his way, much to the amusement of the players at the table, including Fritz, and the crowd gathered nearby.

Huang Picks Up a Four-Bet Pot

After a raise to 20,000 from under the gun, Mohamed Hammoud three-bet to 50,000 from the cutoff. Yuxi Huang, on the button, looked at her cards before cold four-betting to 110,000. The original raiser folded, but Hammoud called.

On the 4♥2♠Q♥ flop, Hammoud checked, and Huang moved all in for 140,000. Hammoud quickly folded, and Huang added another healthy pot to her stack.

Hassan Nashar raised to 25,000 from early position and found a caller from middle position. Ali Al-Kubasi then squeezed to 100,000 from the blinds, which only Nashar called.

Al-Kubasi decided to knuckle it to Nashar on the monotone 10♥6♥9♥ flop, and Nashar bet 50,000. Al-Kubasi continued with a call.

Both players checked the 3♠ turn and the 7♥ river. Nashar showed the winner with 7♦6♠ for two pair, and the pot was pushed his way.

The 4♦ turn checked through, and both players saw the A♦ on the river. Mooney quickly checked, and Sarkis fired for around 40,000. Mooney mulled it over briefly before deciding a fold was best, relinquishing the pot to Sarkis.
