Just before the break, Day 1a chip leader Timur Margolin was eliminated in a huge pot by Selahaddin Bedir.
As recalled to PokerNews, Gilles Simon raised on the button, Margolin called from the small blind, and Bedir came along from the big blind.
When the action checked to Simon on the Ax10x10x flop, he placed out a continuation-bet, which Margolin check-raised. Bedir cold-called, and Simon folded.
A Kx landed on the turn, and Margolin checked, allowing Bedir to bet. Margolin then check-jammed for around 800,000, and Bedir instantly called.

Margolin had turned Broadway, but he was drawing dead against the flopped full house of Bedir.
