Kaigorodtcev Shows Down Queens in Big Pot Versus Abakirov

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Kubanychbek Abakirov three-bet to 11,500 from middle position and Andrei Kaigorodtcev called under the gun as they went heads-up to the {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop.

Kaigorodtcev checked and Abakirov motioned to deal the next card, which came the {j-Hearts}. Abakirov this time bet 25,500, and Kaigorodtcev quickly called.

The river came the {7-Diamonds} and Abakirov put together a bet of 85,500 and tossed it into the middle. Kaigorodtcev sat back in his chair and let out a deep breath before he called.

Abakirov showed {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for two pair, jacks and sevens, but Kaigorodtcev had {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for queens and sevens to take the massive pot.

Konstantin Held

Heads-up on a board of {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Spades}, Konstantin Held bet 22,500 from the hijack and was called by Simeon Spasov in the big blind.

The river came the {10-Hearts} and Spasov led out for 72,000. Held asked to see Spasov's remaining, stack, around 80,000, and counted out his own stack before he moved all in.

Spasov snap-folded as Held dragged in the big pot.

Papazian Near Chip Lead After Picking Off Gavrilovich

Level 6 : Blinds 700/1,500, 1,500 ante
Alexandru Papazian
Alexandru Papazian

There was already more than 100,000 in the middle on a board of {5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} when Alexandru Papazian bet 30,000 from early position and was called by Jenya Gavrilovich in the cutoff.

The river came the {q-Spades} and Papazian slowed down and checked. Gavrilovich sat still for about a minute as the normally rambunctious table, featuring Naji Tanuri and Ionel Anton, fell silent.

Gavrilovich eventually moved all in for around 60,000 and Papazian nearly beat him into the pot. Gavrilovich showed {k-Spades}{2-Spades} for a bluff and Papazian turned over {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a full house to take the pot and move past 400,000.

Deniz checked to his opponent, who fired out another 35,000. Deniz called and both players checked back the {10-Hearts} turn.

The river came the {6-Clubs} and Deniz checked for a third time. The hijack tanked for around 30 seconds before tapping the felt. Deniz opened up {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and his opponent nodded his head and mucked.

Biz Whiffs With His Short Stack

Level 6 : Blinds 700/1,500, 1,500 ante

Mustafa Biz was down to his last 11,000 when he moved all in and was called by Deividas Daubaris.

Mustafa Biz: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Deividas Daubaris: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop had something for both players, as Daubaris made a pair of tens and Biz picked up the nut flush draw. Biz missed the {6-Spades} turn, and the river came the {3-Diamonds} as Biz's hopes for a chip and a chair story evaporated.
