Stein Still Runnin' Good

Sam Stein finished as the funner up at the NAPT Venetian Main Event. Some may say he ran really, really well to get that far and if that's true, it seems as though he's still running good.

On a flop of {Q-Hearts}

, Stein checked to Brian Powell who fired 2,900. Stein check-raised to 7,150 and Powell tank-called.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts}

and Stein moved all in for 11,975. Powell quickly made the call and tabled two red aces. Stein held the {K-Clubs}

for top pair of kings. Powell's aces were in the lead and he also had the flush draw to go with it.

After a long pause for the cameras to grab all the action, the river card was dealt. The {K-Diamonds}

smacked the felt on the river and boom! Just like that Stein won the hand and doubled up. Powell was left with just about 5,000 chips.
