Tough Tables Gets Tougher

As players are eliminated, tables are broken and players assigned to vacant seats. Dwyte Pilgrim was at a fairly tough table to start the day alongside Mark Seif and Nick Binger, but that table has now been broke.

Unfortunately for Pilgrim, he has been moved to an even tougher table. In fact he has been moved to what could be the toughest table in the entire room. Pilgrim has joined Faraz Jaka, Maria Ho, Jose "Nacho" Barbero, and Isaac Baron over at Table 34. This'll certainly be an action table and worth keeping an eye on.

Medic Gets Healthy

Vanessa Rousso limped under the gun and action folded all the way around to Nenad Medic in the small blind. He decided to call, as did the big blind, and the flop came down {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Medic immediately fired out a bet of 400 and both of his opponents folded. Medic, who had a rough start to the day, seems to have recovered nicely and is up to 56,000.

Binger Hits the Turn

Action folded to Michael Binger on the button and he put in a small raise, which both blinds called. All three players checked the {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and the {2-Spades} hit the turn. David Williams, who was in the small blind and first to act, bet 700. After the big blind called, Binger put in a raise to 3,000. Williams quickly folded as did the big blind. Binger showed {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a turned set and increased his stack to right around 50,000.

Grinding in the Wrong Direction

The player in Seat 7 was in middle position and raised to 500. Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, who had fallen down to just 10,000 chips, called from the hijack. The big blind came along for the ride and the three watched the flop fall {3-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}.

The big blind checked, Seat 7 bet 1,000, Mizrachi called and the big blind folded as the dealer burned and turned the {6-Hearts}. Both players checked to the {5-Diamonds} on the river and Seat 7 checked to Mizrachi, who bet 1,100. Seat 7 reluctantly made the call and showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}, which turned out to be good against Mizrachi's {A-}{Q-}. Mizrachi is down to just 7,400.
