They both checked through the 7♥9♦9♥ flop to the K♠ on the turn. Monahan bet 1,000 for Kaupp to come along to the A♣ on the river.
Monahan continued with a bet of 3,500 for Kaupp to call.
"You've got it," Monahan said before Kaupp showed the A♦5♠ for the rivered two pair as Monahan mucked his cards.
Over on one of the other tables, the newest PokerStars Ambassador, Maria Konnikova, has taken her seat.
