Soverel checked on the flop of 2♦A♣8♣ and Hyun continued for 1,800. Soverel called. Soverel checked again on the 6♥ turn and Hyun checked back.
Soverel checked once more on the 7♦ river and Hyun bet 3,000. Soverel check-raised to 12,000 and was met with a snap-call from Hyun. Soverel quickly tossed his cards to the muck for Hyun to win the pot without showdown.
"Not even a charity tank," Soverel commented as Hyun told him he had pocket sevens. "I was drawing dead the whole way."
