Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Tom Orpaz was one of the latest players to join the field but wasted no time doubling up through Ping Liu to his immediate left.
Orpaz held 5♣3♣ for a flush on the board of 8♣7♦9♣4♣2♥ to put a beat on Liu with Q♣Q♦.
"I was behind," Orpaz commented.
Not long after, Kitty Kuo was eliminated by Jesse Lonis at the same table as he increased his chip lead.
