Oh's River Bet Gets Through

Glenn Chernigoff raised to 1,000 in the cutoff, Matthew Dillon flatted on the button, and Han Oh three-bet to 4,700 from the big blind. Chernigoff called and Dillon got out of the way.

The flop came 4♦4♣2♦ and Oh continued with a bet of 8,300. Chernigoff made the call.

The 9♥ turn went check-check, bringing the K♣ river. Oh led out with a bet of 16,200, putting Chernigoff to the test for a good portion of his remaining chips.

"I think you got there on the river, I fold," said Chernigoff as he showed pocket jacks.

Zgorski's Kings Eliminate a Player

William Zgorski raised from under the gun to 1,100 and was called by Brandon Mueller from the hijack. When it folded to a player in the hijack, he three-bet to 5,400. After it folded back Zgorski, he four-bet to 16,000. Mueller folded, and the small blind announced all in, which Zgorski quickly called to put him at risk.

The small blind ran into the kings of Zgorski and would need help to stay in the tournament. But when the board ran out 10♥9♣5♠10♠Q♦ the pocket kings of Zgorski was still best, and the small blind was eliminated.

Action went three-ways to the flop of 5♣Q♣J♠ with 3,400 in the middle. Charles Furey checked in the small blind, the player in the big blind bet 1,500 and John Kostelac called in the hijack. Furey raised to 5,100, getting a fold from the big blind and a call from Kostelac.

The turn landed the 6♦ and Furey continued with a bet of 7,100. Kostelac called and the river brought the A♦.

Furey moved all in for 24,800, putting Kostelac at risk, who had 23,800 behind. Kostelac thought for a moment but eventually gave up his hand.

The flop of 8♦4♣K♦ went check-check, as did the K♣ turn.

On the A♦ river, Zgorski check-called a bet of 1,100. Mueller announced "queen-high" and showed Q♠9x.

Zgorski turned over A♣5♥ for two pair, aces and kings, to take down the pot.

Dominic Lake raised to 1,000 from the hijack, and was called by a player on the button, before Riva Arthur three-bet to 3,000 from the big blind. Both Lake and the button called to see a flop.

The flop came [9♠8♦7♣ and Arthur bet out 6,000. Lake made the call, and the player on the button folded.

After the 6♥ turn, Arthur bet out 13,000, and Lake announced all in for Arthur's last 21,100 chips. After sitting in the tank, Arthur mucked her hand to give the pot to Lake, who is nearing 100,000 in chips.

Action picked up on the turn with a sizable pot brewing between Scott Latshaw in the small blind and Andrew Cucina in the big blind.

With about 15,000 in the pot and the board reading A♦Q♣K♦5♠, Latshaw led out with a bet of 6,000. Cucina made it 17,000 to go and Latshaw called.

The river brought the 5♥ and Latshaw checked. Cucina moved all in, putting Latshaw at risk. After some consideration, Latshaw gave up his hand and the pot was pushed Cucina's way.

The flop came 9♦Q♣3♠ and Barrera checked before Capuano bet out 1,5000. Cashen made the call and Barrera folded.

After the 8♥ turn, Capuano bet out 3,500, before Cashen raised to 8,500. Capuano made the call to see a river.

The river was the 7♣ and Capuano led out for a bet of 16,000. Cashen was visibly not happy with the bet, but did flick in a chip to make the call.

Capuano tabled Q♥10♥ for a pair of queens, but Cashen showed 9♣8♣ for two pair, which was good enough to take the pot.

Action was caught on the turn in a hand between Richard Kaplan in the cutoff and Johnathon Gilliam in the small blind.

With 2,400 in the middle and the board reading 6♣3♦2♥A♣, Gilliam check-called a bet of 700 from Kaplan.

The river brought the 4♦, with now four cards to a straight on the board. Gilliam led out with a bet of 4,000 and Kaplan tossed his cards into the muck.
