Propst Puts Gazzola in the Blender

Action picked up on the turn with a sizable pot brewing between Edgar Propst in the big blind and Ben Gazzola in middle position.

With about 100,000 in the middle and the board reading Q♠8♣8♥7♥, Propst put out a hefty bet of 90,000, prompting Gazzola to go deep into the tank.

Clearly faced with a tough decision for most of his chips, Gazzola eventually tossed his cards into the muck.

"Want to see it?" asked Propst.

"Yeah," replied Gazzola.

Propst turned over A♦5♦, having pulled off a huge bluff.

Ditoto Puts Brandt to the Test

Action was caught on the flop in a hand between Isiah Ditoto in middle position, Joseph Cashen in the cutoff, and Thomas Brandt in the big blind.

With roughly 35,000 in the pot, Brandt checked, Ditoto bet 11,000, and Cashen called. Brandt then raised to 25,000, with Ditoto calling and Cashen getting out of the way.

The turn landed the 5♠ and Brandt led out for 20,000. Ditoto called, bringing the 4♣ river.

Brandt bet 20,000 again, and Ditoto moved all in, putting Brandt at risk, who had about 92,00 behind. Brandt thought for a moment but eventually tossed his cards into the muck.

Putinas Wins Big Flip to Stay Alive

Talbot was ahead but would have to win the flip against the two over cards to eliminate Putinas. The flop came J♠Q♥9♣ to give Putinas more outs in the form of a ten to make a straight. Putinas didn't have to wait long as the 10♣ came right in on the river to give Putinas a Broadway straight. Talbot would need the board to pair after turning a set, but the river was the K♠ which confirmed the double up for Putinas.

Action folded around to Jimmy Born in the small blind who completed and Parker Talbot raised to 14,000 in the big blind. Born called.

The flop came 6♥4♦K♣ and Born check-called a bet of 13,000 from Talbot, bringing the 3♦ turn which went check-check.

On the 8♠ river, Born led out for 20,000 and Talbot quickly called. Born tabled J♣J♦ for a pair of jacks to scoop the pot.

"That's what you call losing the absolute bare minimum," said Talbot, explaining that he had pocket tens.

The flop came 9♣2♠3♥ and the small blind checked to Han, who bet 5,000. Then Ryan raised to 16,000, the small blind folded, and Han three-bet all in for 54,000. After confirming the count, Ryan did make the call to put Han at risk.

Isiah Ditoto who took home the top prize in the 2023 MSPC Main Event, raised from the hijack, before Joseph Cashen three-bet to 15,000 from the button. Once it folded back to Ditoto, he four-bet 37,000, and Cashen made the call.

Ditoto bet 25,000 after the 5♦6♣4♠ flop, and Cashen made the call.

The turn was the 4♣ and Cashen called a bet of 42,000 from Ditoto.

The river was the A♠ and Ditoto announced all in for Cashen's last 81,000. Cashen then quickly folded JxJx face up, to give the pot to Ditoto.
