All four players checked the flop and turn leading to a final board of J74910. Action then checked around to Samson who bet 5,000. Tice called, Nussrallah called and Yau folded.

Samson showed a king-high straight with KQ and both of his opponents mucked.

McKellar Trips Up Moradi

Pierce McKellar opened to 1,600 from middle position and then called after Abbas Moradi three-bet to 6,000 from the button.

McKellar check-called a bet of 3,500 on the JJ2 flop.

The 3 turn checked through to the 6 river which saw McKellar lead all-in for around 20,000 effective to put Moradi at risk. After over a minute in the tank, Moradi called and the hands were revealed.

Zhiqin Zeng opened to 1,600 from early position before Thomas Fuller three-bet next to act. In the hijack, Graeme Newman cold four-bet to 25,000. With the action back on Zeng, he five-bet jammed for 38,800, Fuller quickly folded, and Newman called.

It was an unavoidable cooler between two premium hands with Zeng having the best of it. Nothing changed on the QQ8 flop. However, the Q on the turn gave Newman a single chop-out which did not come on the 2 river as Zeng found the full double at the expense of Newman.
