Ojani Doubles Through Glendinning in Dramatic Fashion

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Yan Shing Tsang opened to 2,400 from the cutoff before Armin Ojani three-bet to 8,500 from the button. In the small blind, Jonathan Glendinning jammed for 52,000. Tsang got out of the way before Ojani snapped it off for slightly less and the cards hit their backs.

Armin Ojani: QQ All in
Jonathan Glendinning: KK

Ojani winced as he realized he was in terrible shape until the Q102 flop vaulted him into the lead as he shot up from his chair. The A turn gave Glendinning more outs but the 10 river bricked out and Ojani survived while Glendinning was left on fumes.

Action was heads-up to the 1054 flop, where Ryan Wolfson check-called from the big blind after Erik Seidel fired 2,000 in the cutoff.

Both players then checked the A turn, with another pair of checks following the 8 river.

"Deuces," Wolfson exclaimed as he turned over 22. Seidel calmly flipped over 33 for a better pair to claim the pot.

Worst Turn in the Deck for Lambrecht

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Matthew Lambrecht opened to 2,500 from the hijack off 12 big blinds and Zachary Mcdiarmid defended his big blind.

The J107 flop checked through to the 2 turn which saw Mcdiarmid lead for 3,000. Lambrecht responded with an all-in raise for 12,200 and Mcdiarmid double-checked his cards before he called it off.

Matthew Lambrecht: 22 All in
Zachary Mcdiarmid: 98

Mcdiarmid had flopped a straight while Lambrecht turned a set. He needed the board to pair on the river but the Q offered no help as he hit the exit late in the night.

Seidel Gets the Double, Wheeler Gets a Warning

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Action folded to Erik Seidel who limped in from the small blind. Jeremiah Wheeler then raised to 3,500 in the big blind and Seidel moved all in for 44,800.

Wheeler then turned over his cards and peeked over at Seidel as he considered the decision. The floor had to be called over and Wheeler was put on the clock.

"Imagine trying to do that against Erik to get a read," tablemate Ryan Wolfson said. Wheeler allowed the countdown to nearly reach zero before he called.

Erik Seidel: 55 All in
Jeremiah Wheeler: KQ

The board ran out 1063A3 and Seidel's pocket fives stayed in the lead to earn him a double up. After the hand, the tournament official alerted Wheeler he would be let off with just a warning for exposing his cards.
