Mike Vanier raised to 50,000 in the hijack and Brian Yoon three-bet to 140,000 in the cutoff. Vanier called and they saw a flop of J♥7♠4♣.
Yoon bet 80,000 and Vanier called. The turn was the 9♥ and Yoon bet another 180,000. Vanier again called.
The 2♠ fell on the river and Yoon bet 630,000, leaving just one 5,000 chip behind. Vanier took a minute before calling as Yoon showed K♠Q♣ for a bluff. Vanier turned over K♥J♠ for top pair as he took the big pot to leave Yoon on fumes.
The action folded to Brian Frasca in the small blind who raised to 240,000 effective. Frank Brannan burned all of his time banks waiting for a pay jump which did not come before he called off.
Frank Brannan: A♠10♦
Brian Frasca: Q♥10♣
Brannan was in good shape against Fransca's hand and it stayed that way on the 8♠5♥5♦5♣2♣ runout as Brannan held to double through Frasca.
At another table, Brian Yoon was all-in for his last 5,000 and won to get back to 45,000.
Brian Yoon managed to triple up shortly after being left with one chip then moved all in again for 45,000 under the gun. Both David "ODB" Baker in early position and Mike Vanier in the big blind called.
Baker and Vanier checked down the A♥6♦3♣J♦9♥ board and Yoon showed 9♦7♥ for a rivered pair of nines that was good enough to win the pot and triple up yet again.
The next hand, Masato Yokosawa raised to 50,000 in the hijack, Yoon three-bet to 100,000 in the big blind, and Yokosawa called.
The flop came K♠9♦7♣ and Yoon bet 35,000, leaving just 10,000 behind. Yokosawa called and Yoon checked the Q♥ turn. Yokosawa then moved all in.
"I promise you I'm calling," Yoon said as he took a few moments before tossing in his last 10,000. He showed J♣J♥, while Yokosawa had A♦2♦ as the river came the 5♦ to earn Yoon yet another double up.
Brian Yoon opened the button to 50,000 and then called all-in for 315,000 effective after Byung Shin jammed the big blind.
Brian Yoon: Q♦Q♣
Byung Shin: 7♥7♣
Yoon was in great shape to double again and it stayed that way on the A♥J♣3♠9♦5♣ runout as he doubled yet again, going from 5,000 to 665,000 in one orbit.
Brock Wilson opened to 55,000 from middle position and Matt Affleck three-bet to 125,000 from the cutoff. Wilson four-bet shoved with a covering stack and Affleck, who started the hand with 445,000, made the call.
Matt Affleck: A♣A♥
Brock Wilson: A♠7♠
The board ran out 7♥2♥3♣J♥A♦ giving Affleck a set to score the double up through Wilson.
Brock Wilson opened to 55,000 from under the gun and was called by Nick Marchington in the small blind and Jeff Madsen in the big blind.
On the 10♣5♥3♠ flop, Marchington led from the small blind for 50,000. Jeff Madsen folded before Brock Wilson raised to 125,000 and Marchington called.
The 9♥ turn checked through to the K♥ river which saw Marchington lead for 40,000. Wilson used the full 30 seconds before he paid it off. Marchington tabled Q♠10♠ for a flopped top pair which was good enough to drag the pot.
