Alcorn Calls Down With a Set
Level 4
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Around 5,500 was in the pot as four players saw a flop of K♦4♥3♦. Heather Alcorn then bet 2,100 from early position and the cutoff and big blind both called.
All three players checked the 7♣ turn and the 9♠ fell on the river. The big blind then led out for 10,000, Alcorn called, and the cutoff folded.
Alcorn turned over 9♣9♦ for a set of nines and her opponent mucked.
