Action folded to Tim Reilly on the button who raised all in. The small blind folded and Norman Yeung in the big blind quickly made the call for his stack of 115,000.
Norman Yeung: A♥A♦
Tim Reilly: Q♣10♥
Reilly ran into the pocket aces of Yeung, but once the board ran out 10♠J♥7♦Q♥9♠ Reilly improved to two pair, queens and tens to crack the aces and eliminate Yeung.
Action was picked up on the flop with the board showing J♦4♠2♥.
The small blind Jackie Rosen checked, when the big blind Karel Kratochvil bet out 12,000. Tim Reilly in middle position called, and Rosen folded.
After the 3♣ on the turn, Kratochvil check-called a bet of 27,000 from Reilly.
The river was the 3♠ and Kratochvil checked to Reilly who bet all in for Kratochvil stack of 143,000, which he snap called. Reilly quickly turned over A♣5♠ for a wheel, but Kratochvil tabled 3♥3♦ for quad threes to get the massive double up.
Action folded to the small blind Ryan Wolfson who raised to put Sergio Dantas all in for his stack of 135,000. Dantas peeled his hand and quickly made the call to put himself at risk.
Sergio Dantas: Q♥Q♦
Ryan Wolfson: 3♠3♣
Dantas woke up with a monster in the big blind, and was in a great spot to double up with the bigger pocket pair. But when the board ran out A♣3♥K♥7♦9♦ Wolfson flopped a set of threes to take the pot and eliminate Dantas on the stone bubble.
The second annual PokerStars North American Poker Tour Las Vegas (NAPT) festival kicked off with the $550 Mystery Bounty event. Today, the first two of five Day 1 flights took place at Resorts World Las Vegas. Day 1a, which began at noon local time, attracted 232 entrants, with 35 players making the money and advancing to Day 2. The second flight started at 5:00 p.m. local time and drew 100 entrants, with 15 players set to advance to Day 2 and secure at least a minimum cash. The chip leader at the conclusion of Day 1b was Karel Kratochvil, who bagged an impressive 437,000 chips.
Kratochvil climbed to the top of the leaderboard largely due to a massive double up during hand for hand play, where he made quad threes on the river against his opponent’s turned wheel. Right behind him is Ryan Wolfson in second place with 414,000 chips, followed by Tim Reilly in third with 337,000 chips.

The 15 remaining players found themselves in the money after Sergio Dantas was eliminated in brutal fashion on the stone bubble. Action folded to the small blind Ryan Wolfson who jammed all in with pocket threes against the big blind Dantas pocket queens, who had a stack of 135,000. To the delight of several shorter stacks in the field, Wolfson flopped a set of threes, eliminating Dantas and bursting the bubble.
