Action folded around to Jose Waybright in the small blind who raised all in, putting Ryan Tillmann at risk for his last 550,000 chips. Tillmann quickly called.
Ryan Tillmann: A♦K♥
Jose Waybright: 5♣5♦
A massive flip for over 1,000,000 chips, the board ran out J♣K♦4♣5♠6♣ and Waybright caught a two-outer on the turn to eliminate Tillmann, and rake in the pot.
Christopher Csik raised to 160,000 from under the gun, and William Chisholm three-bet all in for 880,000. It folded back to Csik, who sat in the tank for over two minutes, before finding the call.
William Chisholm: 9♥9♦
Christopher Csik: 9♠8♠
Chisholm was a great position to double up, with Csik having no immediate outs to beat the pocket nines. But after the 8♣K♦5♥ flop, Csik could now hit an eight. But after the 5♦ on the turn and K♣ on the river, the pocket nines of Chisholm remained the best hand, and he secured the double up.
Action folded around to Christopher Csik in the small blind who raised to 260,000. William Chisholm three-bet to 750,000 from the big blind and Csik four-bet jammed, covering Chisholm. Chisholm, not in love with the situation, stuck his stack in the middle for a call.
William Chisholm: A♦Q♦
Christopher Csik: A♠K♣
The dealer put out Q♠J♠J♦2♣3♥ and Chisholm spiked a queen on the flop to double up and extend his final table run.
Julian Penza opened to 600,000 from under the gun. William Chisholm called from the cutoff.
The dealer put out 9♦J♣7♣ and Penza moved all in for his last 200,000 chips. Chisholm made the call.
Julian Penza: 7♥7♦
William Chisholm: K♣Q♠
The turn 2♥ rolled off before the river 10♠ smacked the felt and the table erupted. Penza's bottom set went down in flames, and he was sent to the payout desk.
Action folded to Kevin Roche on the button, and he raised all in for 1,480,000. After it folded to the big blind Jonas Wexler, he debated his decision for over a minute, before tossing in a chip to call.
Kevin Roche: K♥10♥
Jonas Wexler: A♥8♥
Roche had two live cards against the ace high of Wexler, and before the flop he said, "King is always coming right?". When the flop came K♣2♠8♦ he was proven right and jumped into the lead. The 6♥ on the turn, and 5♠ on the river changed nothing, and Roche scooped the pot and got the double up.
Christopher Csik opened to 200,000 from the cutoff. Kevin Roche called in the small blind and Jose Waybright defended his big blind.
The flop came down 5♥5♣10♥ and Csik continued for 175,000. Roche raised to 600,000 and Csik called in position.
Roche checked the 4♠ turn over to Csik who fired 650,000. Roche made the call.
The river 10♦ hit the felt and Roche wagered 1,050,000. Csik thought it over, but ultimately settled on a call. Roche tabled A♣10♠ and it was the winner.
Action folded around to Jose Waybright who raised to 240,000 from the small blind. Jonas Wexler defended his big blind.
Both players checked the 5♥K♦5♦ flop before Waybright fired 225,000 on the 2♣ turn. Wexler called.
Waybright bet 400,000 on the 3♥ river before Wexler moved all in. After a couple minutes in the tank, Waybright tossed his cards into the muck and Wexler dragged in the pot.
William Chisholm opened to 250,000 from the hijack before Jose Waybright moved all in from the button for 1,270,000. Chisholm made the call.
Jose Waybright: K♠Q♥
William Chisholm: 10♠10♦
A fair fight heading to see five community cards, the board ran out K♦5♣2♦3♣Q♦ and Waybright's top-two pair earned him the pot and a massive double up.
Christopher Csik opened the action with a raise to 1,500,000, leaving just 150,000 chips behind. Once it folded to the big blind Jose Waybright, he announced all in, and Csik called to put himself at risk.
Christopher Csik: A♥10♣
Jose Waybright: Q♦Q♣
Waybright woke up with pocket queens in the big blind, and left Csik in bad shape. After the Q♠9♣A♣ flop, things got worst for Csik, now needing running cards to beat the set of queens from Waybright. The J♦ on the turn did bring outs for Csik with a king to make a straight. But when the river came the 10♦ the set of queens were still best, and Csik was eliminated in fifth place.
After four Day 1 flights with 499 entrants, the 63 players who advanced all came together for Day 2 of $1,100 Event #2 at Pennsylvania State Poker Championship here at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia. The PokerStars sponsored event created a total prize pool of $479,040, with play ending in a four-way ICM chop.
After the four-way ICM chop, Jonas Wexler held the chip lead and took home $58,780. Wexler has over $1,200,000 in poker earnings, he is also a World Series of Poker bracelet winner and holds seven WSOP circuit rings.
Along with the top prize, Wexler will also receive a Gold Pass to the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event in November. PokerStars will award the winner of this event the Gold Pass package, which includes travel, accommodation, and the $5,300 tournament buy-in.

Taking home the most cash from the chop was Westchester, PA resident Kevin Roche who was second in chips, winning $59,783. This is a new high score for Roche, who now has over $100,000 in career poker earnings.
Third in chips was Jose Waybright, who more than tripled his career poker earnings after he won $57,546. It was a rollercoaster of a tournament for Waybright, who was on the brink of elimination several times throughout the two days of the tournament.
Fourth in chips at the time of the chop was Willam Chisholm, who won $55,206, in his first career live tournament cash. Chisholm was able to ride the momentum of spiking a king on the river, when his pocket kings ran into aces early into Day 2
Prior to the final table, knockouts came fast and furious to start the day, with notables busting such as two-time WPT winner Bin Weng, World Series of Poker bracelet winners Tim Faro and Boris Kravets, as well as five-time WSOP Ring winner Brandon Mueller.
Out in eighth place was the overall chip leader coming into Day 2, Keith Crowder. He raised all in with queen-jack suited but was dominated by the ace-jack of Christopher Csik. After the board ran out, Csik's ace high was best, and Crowder was eliminated.
Ryan Tillmann was sent to the payout desk in seventh after him and Jose Waybright ended up all in preflop. Tilmann had Ace-king versus the pocket fives of Waybright and was able to flop an ace. But Waybright turned a set to leave Tillmann drawing dead on the river.
Julian Penza was eliminated in sixth place in brutal fashion after flopping a set of sevens and being called all in by Willam Chisolm with king-queen, who had a gut shot straight draw on the flop. Penza could not fade the 10 on the river brought in the nut straight for Chisolm.
Finishing in fifth place was Christopher Csik, who [U[PLAYER="jose-waybright"]undefined[/PLAYER]RL="https://www.pokernews.com/tours/napt/2024-pennsylvania-state-poker-championship/1-100-pspc-event-2/chips.684739.htm"] jammed all in from the cutoff with ace-ten[/URL], when the big blind Jose Waybright woke up with pocket queens. Once Waybright flopped a set, Csik missed his gut shot straight draw and was eliminated.
