Action folded to Jose Waybright who raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and was called by Keith Crowder on the button. Then Julian Penza three-bet to 300,000 from the small blind, which Waybright called, and Crowder folded.

The flop came 2♦2♣J♣ and Penza bet out 110,000, before Waybright raised to 300,000, which was called by Penza.

After the 10♣ on the turn, Penza checked to Waybright he went all in for Penza's last 450,000, which Penza quickly called to put himself at risk.

Penza flopped trips against the top pair of Waybright and found himself in a great position to secure another double up. After the 7♣ on the river he did just that, as his trip deuces remained best.

Hager woke up with a pair in the big blind but would have to win the flip to stay in the tournament. The K♥7♠6♦ flop was a clean one for Hager, but when the turn brought the Q♦, Hager would have to find one of the last two outs in the deck. But after the 3♠ on the river, Wexler had the best hand with a pair of queens and eliminated Hager in 10th place.
