Laviano Stacks Azzaro
Level 10
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Thomas Laviano opened to 3,500 from middle position and Michael Azzaro defended his big blind.
The dealer put out 10♥5♣6♦ and Laviano continued for 3,000. Azzaro made the call.
Laviano fired 11,000 on the 8♥ turn before Azzaro moved all in for his last 32,000 chips. Laviano quickly called and had Azzaro drawing dead.
Michael Azzaro: 8♣5♥
Thomas Laviano: 10♠10♣
The meaningless 5♦ river hit the felt, improving both players to a full house but Laviano's was bigger, as he eliminated Azzaro and took command as the overwhelming table chip leader.
