Sabia Running Hot
Level 12
: Blinds 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Action folded to Matthew Zambanni on the button, and he raised to 6,000. Matthew Sabia then three-bet to 20,000 in the small blind, before the big blind four-bet all in. Zambanni quickly folded, and Sabia made the call to put the big blind at risk.
Big Blind: [AcQq]
Matthew Sabia: J♦9♦
The big blind was ahead with his ace high, and also had the clubs covered against Sabia. But after the board ran out 6♠4♣2♣J♦9♠ Sabia had the best hand with two pair, jacks and nines to eliminate his opponent.
