Collurafici Finds the Correct Call Deep In the Tank
Level 16
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Charles Bryant raised to 12m000 from the hijack, when the cutoff Anthony Collurafici three-bet to 30,000. Michael Matrone called from the small blind, and after the big blind folded, Bryant folded as well.
Matrone check-called a bet of 17,000 from Collurafici after the J♣5♠A♣ flop.
Players checked to the river after the 3♣ on the turn, which was the 8♣. Matrone then bet out 60,000, which sent Collurafici into the tank. After over two minutes of debating his decision, he found the call, Matrone turned over A♦Q♥ for a pair of aces. But Collurafici had the winner when he tabled 10♦10♣ for a flush to take the sizable pot.
