Laviano Finds a Nice River

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action folded to Thomas Laviano in middle position, and he raised to 500. Then David Kazanjian three-bet to 1,500 from the hijack, and once it folded back to Laviano, he made the call.

Both players checked after the 4J10 flop.

After the 2 on the turn Laviano check-called a bet of 1,800 from Kazanjian.

Both players checked after the K on the river.

Laviano quickly turned over K10 for a rivered two pair, and Kazanjian showed the J before mucking his cards and giving the pot to Laviano.

Thomas Laviano four-bet to 9,000 from the big blind, forcing out Kazanjian and the hijack. Action was back on Kim and he five-bet to 21,000 before Laviano moved all in for 49,000. Kim mucked his cards and Laviano took down over 20,000 chips without having to see a flop.

Laviano Rivers a Straight

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

John Disante opened the action to 400 from early position, and once it folded to Thomas Laviano, he defended the big blind.

Laviano check-called a bet of 600 after the 759 flop, and a bet of 1,100 after the 3 on the turn.

Both players checked after the 8 on the river. Disante turned over 33 for a turned set, but Laviano had the winner with 76 for a rivered straight to take the pot.

Mincher Takes Another One

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

David Kazanjian raised to 300 from the button and was called by both the small blind Brandon Mincher and the big blind.

After the 2K10 flop it checked to Kazanjian, and he bet out 300. Mincher called, and the big blind folded.

The turn brought the J and Mincher check-called a bet of 2,200 from Kazanjian.

Both players checked after the J on the river. Mincher turned over 109 for a pair of tens, and Kazanjian said "Where's the hearts?" as he tossed his cards in the muck, giving the pot to Mincher.

Kazanjian Doubles on the First Hand of Play in 7-Bet Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
David Kazanjian

On the very first hand of the tournament, Karneet Arora raised to 200 from the cutoff, and when it folded the small blind David Kazanjian, he three-bet to 1,000. Once the big blind folded, Arora four-bet to 3,500, and Kazanjian quickly five-bet to 11,500. Arora then six-bet to 18,500, and Kazanjian seven-bet all in for 40,000, which was snap called by Arora, putting both players at risk.

Karneet Arora: QQ All in
David Kazanjian: AK

After the wild pre flop action, it was a classic flip, with both players all in for their starting 40,000 chip stack. Arora was ahead with his pocket queens, but once the board ran out A69J6 Kazanjian improved to a pair of aces for the best hand, to double up and knockout Arora.
