Romeo Doubles After Rollercoaster Runout

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Thomas Romeo raised to 1,500 from under the gun, and was called by the hijack Ronnie Dowdy.

The flop came 4QA and Romeo checked to Dowdy, who bet out 1,100. Romeo then raised all in for 7,200, and after giving it some thought, Dowdy called to put Romeo at risk.

Thomas Romeo: AA All in
Ronnie Dowdy: KJ

Dowdy walked right into the trap of Romeo who flopped a set of aces, but had outs to crack the set with a ten to make Broadway. The 10 came right in on the turn to give Dowdy the lead with his Broadway straight. Romeo was unfazed, and said "Don't worry we'll get there on the river". He was exactly right as the river brought the 10 to give him a full house, aces full of tens to secure the double up.
