In a six way limped pot, action checked to Robert Armstrong in the cutoff who fired 4,000 on a rainbow Q♥9♦8♣ flop before John Welsh raised to 8,000 from the small blind. Armstrong made the call.

Welsh continued for 8,000 on the Q♦ turn and Armstrong called once more in position.

The river 6♣ peeled off and Welsh wagered 16,000. Armstrong quickly called but Welsh took it down with Q♣4♣ for trip queens.

A player from the hijack raised to 6,500, and was called by Terrance Savage in the cutoff, Ahmed Fahmy on the button, Henry Holst in the small blind, and the big blind Ryan Clark.

All five players checked after the 9♦Q♦9♥ flop.

After the K♠ on the turn, it checked to Fahmy on the button who bet out 17,500. Holst folded, while Clark called. The hijack and Savage both folded, leaving the players heads up.

The river was the 6♣ and Clark decided to lead out for a bet of 30,000. Fahmy debated his decision but eventually found a fold, to give the pot to Clark.

Joseph Weaver opened the action from early position with a raise to 5,500. A player in middle position called before Ahmed Fahmy three-bet to 15,000 from the hijack. The cutoff player called all in for 11,200 and action was back on Weaver. He put in another raise to 55,000 before Fahmy raised all in for 103,000. Weaver made the call, barely having Fahmy covered.
