Brian Battistone raised to 4,000 in the hijack and was called by Joseph Bartholdi on the button. The flop came Q♣10♣4♣ and Battistone continued with a bet, which Bartholdi called.
The 4♦ paired the board on the turn and Battiston fired out another bet. Bartholdi still called and the 8♦ completed the board. Battiston unleashed a third barrel, this one for his remaining stack of 43,500. Bartholdi gave it some thought and then called off his stack of 43,000.
Battistone quickly turned over A♥K♣ for just ace-high while Bartholdi held A♣Q♥ to claim the pot and a double up, leaving Battistone with just 500 chips. He was eliminated shortly after.
