Bechahed Missteps at the Wrong Time
Level 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ian O'Hara raised to 8,000 in the hijack and Sami Bechahed called from the small blind along with the big blind. The flop came 9♠9♥2♦ and the action checked around to the 6♣ on the turn.
Bechahed led out with a bet of 14,000 which got the big blind to fold but O'Hara called to see the A♣ on the river. Bechahed checked this time and O'Hara splashed in a bet of 15,000. Bechahed check-raised all in and O'Hara snapped him off.
Bechahed quickly tabled his 8♦6♦ but mucked it just as fast when O'Hara showed K♠9♣ for the winner. O'Hara's stack of 144,000 was counted out and Bechahed was forced to pay it off.
