Katz Folds Aces Face-Up
Level 11
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Cary Katz lost three consecutive hands starting when he min-raised in the small blind and check-folded the flop to a bet from Bryn Kenney in the big blind. The next hand, Katz again raised to 20,000 on the button and folded as Kenney three-bet to 90,000 before showing A♣K♣.
The next hand, Ben Tollerene opened to 23,000 in the hijack and Katz called in the cutoff as Dan Smith defended his big blind.
Smith checked on the flop of 10♠J♥9♠ and Tollerene continued for 21,000. Katz called it "maybe the scariest flop I've ever seen" and called and Smith folded. Tollerene then bet 30,000 on the 8♣ turn and Katz proclaimed he was the "worst player ever" before folding A♥A♦ face-up.
